Yes you can do the same steps for natural nails to apply gel coating but not sure how long that would last.
Normally my tip application with gel overlay would last a week to 10 days sometimes longer depending on how many manicures and shows I was doing.
Good luck and keep me posted on your results.
    Thanks

  6. Hi! I love your tutorials. They are super helpful! I was wondering if these steps are the same for natural tips? Also, I was wondering how long they tend to last on your nails? Thanks :)

  7. Great tutorial .

  8. Great, I am glad it worked out. I am not sure if they will last 2 weeks..mine usually lasted about 1 week…let me know.
    Thanks for the feedback.

I did the broadway nails tonight and they are
    Looking good.
Do u know if they stay on for 2 weeks?

  10. Hi there,

I have tried that brand and it is okay. I found that sometimes the gel didn’t set right and remained sticky on the nail. I prefer the Nailene kit.
Try it and let me know what you think.

What If you use Broadway real life brush on gel? Would it work the same as your demonstration?

  13. Hi there,

    Thank you for the comment.
You can purchase these products at a Shopper’s Drug Mart or Walmart. I am not sure in the states or mexico it would be the same..maybe look up on the internet at stores around you.
    Good luck!

  14. ESTE VIDEO ESTA PADRISIMO, EN DONDE COMPRAS LAS UÑAS EN E.U. O EN MEXICO, ME PUEDES DECIR EN QUE PARTE Y EN QUE TIENDA? :{ gracias

  15. When in doubt try a sample nail first and see how it works out. I haven’t done this myself but I think it should be okay…let me know.

  16. do you think it’d be okay if i used a printed nail tip and put the gel on top? for example, a LV design nail tip

  17. I am so glad you liked the nailene kit. I’ve been using it for over a year and I love how it protects my nail art when I do my shows. I’ve noticed too that a lot of times it is sold out fast so when I see it I usually stock up on 2 or 3 kits at a time…make sure you moisturize your nails with a good cuticle oil after using acetone as I find it really dries them out.
    Thanks for your comment.

  18. I tried the kit and I thought it was great! I’m used to natural nails and not tips so it was a bit of work applying them. The polish stayed on great and had a nice shine. I will use this again w/o the tips. I couldn’t find the French manicure gel kit at Shoppers and Walmart. It was sold out (of course). I’d like to try that one too. I used 100% acetone to take off the polish bc I wanted to take the tips off. I’m ready to try another round and just do an overlay this time!

  19. I did buy the kit today. Unfortunately they were out of the kits at Walmart so I purchased the one at Shoppers. This means I got just the white tips w/o the clear part on them. I was a little disappointed the tips had no “well” to them. I was happy about the choice of tips though. They give you the white French tips and a set of more natural looking nail tips. I’m hoping to get the chance to put them on tomorrow. I’ll let you know what I think!

  20. Hi there,

I usually take my gel and tips off after about a week or two and let my nails rest for a couple days.
I use a really good cuticle oil about 3x a day and rub that in to my cuticles and nails, then I put a good strengthener with vitamins on my nails to keep them strong…Sally hansen has some good ones.
I wouldn’t leave them on too long ..like several months because they can make your nails soft underneath.

Hope that helps..have fun doing your nails.

  21. Ty so much for this tutorial. I didn’t know the kits came with different tips. Can’t wait to try this out! Just one question. How do you rejuvenate your nails after removing the tips? I hope there isn’t a lot of damage from using them.

  22. How long would you need to soak your nails in the acetone? The last time I went to the nail salon and got solar nails when I was ready to remove them, I soaked my nails in acetone and it really damaged them. I’m interested in trying this but I don’t want to end up with really weak nails, they are almost back to normal. It’s been about four or five months now.

  23. Yes you can after you let the gel application dry really well.

  24. can you paint them with nail polish?
