  1. It’s wrong to work to get reaction. Work to express, not to impress.

  2. this video actually made me cry. i was so overwhelmed with how amazing it must be to finally make it, and it was reassuring to hear you talk about being a dreamer. I think too often big dreamers and pegged as irrational and unreasonable and told to just get a dependable job. I dont want a job, I want my dream. 🙂 thanks for reminding me – its not unreasonable or impossible to go for it. I watch you on DA

  3. awesome, very inspiring, thanx bobby! 😀

  4. My new catchphrase is gonna be smell the popcorn… not even joking.

  5. Instant sub.

  6. Thank you 🙂 >:D<

  7. I would like to be able to dream but the thing is my main goal is to get out of my country and go somewhere with actual opportunities and art just isn’t enough to get me there, so I’m sticking with maths and physics. but thank you for the videos I love to listen to your voice while I draw 😀

  8. thank you always and ever….. every time I listen to you I got crazy dreams about ME making art for movies and games…… and it almost brought a tear to mí eye this time

  9. i am a big dreamer and i’ve been inspired by your artwork the first time i saw them. and the idea of my name on the cast list after a movie, i’ve had that dream ever since i decided that i wanted to become a conceptual artist… i hate the smell of popcorn though. but seriously, you’re one of my biggest inspirations right now.. thanks Mr. Bob Chiu!!

  10. Thank you so much for this.

  11. man im studying arte at university and i have to say that what you do here, someone who offers absolutely free all these tutorials or tips or whatever, its admirable, its wonderful and fantastic. I knew you were damn good but i didnt know you worked on alice… but im not surprised!! Congratulations for everything you do

  12. how is there no money in it? we need visuals to tell stories all the time. We could always use more awesome creative artists in the entertainment industry.

  13. thank you! i’m a dreamer too, but i’m still working on being strategic, i wouldn’t want my dreams to remain as they are though, i want to see them happen. you’re an inspiration to us all sir bobby! 🙂 thank you!

  14. WOW!!!!!!! That was one of the best videos i’ve ever seen! I am 13 and I do alot of art and mainlyanimation. My dream has almost always been to make a big time claymation. But then i thought about it and was thinking about how i would get there and i couldnt find the answer. So then i was thinking i would end up making small commercials or something. But because of this video im gonna head at my dreams again! Thank you so much! -DaToadsta

  15. Thanks so much bobby, for all the inspiration, and for sharing it! We as students find fault in ourselves and our work all the time coz we expect something from ourselves – and if we don’t meet those expectations we lower our dreams. Thanks for reminding me that I need to stay positive and fight it out for the big one. 🙂

  16. Great message! totally inspiring! Thanks! please keep making inspiring videos!

  17. I have to say, I had given up today. I was lowering my dream. I’ve heard so much negative criticism recently, and I felt totally defeated. So I did what everyone does when they give up? They go on the internet. And I found you. Thank you, thank you, Thank you a million times.

  18. All I gotta say is… THANK YOU.

  19. Thank you so much for this. Hearing you talk made me realize that one of my strongest skills is dreaming. I really needed to hear this!

Great message! totally inspiring! Be passionate about what you do. If you love it pursue it. Don’t think about how much money is in it.If you think “Oh I will do this because this will make me rich” then you will fail, but think like this “I’ll do this because I love doing it” then you will go a long way. Thanks for the great advice Bobby!

  21. Hey Bobby, I just rediscovered your videos, and not only your art but your advice are proving to be a great source of inspiration. It’s very easy for artists to get sidetracked and frustrated (even the ones with some field experience), and it always helps to have someone with more experience to shine a light towards the right direction, and to encourage us to keep dreaming.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and goodwill! 🙂

  22. Words of wisdom. 🙂

  23. That’s just the true Spirit. Thx a lot.

  25. Thank you, your story is very inspiring. I could feel and imagine everything, going through my body and experience it as if it were already happening.
